Sapi kurban Presiden RI, Joko Widodo atau Jokowi telah tiba di Masjid Nasional Al Akbar, Surabaya, Selasa (21/8/2018) lalu.

Tepatnya, sekitar pukul 10.30 WIB.

Sapi tersebut merupakan jenis Peranakan Ongole/PO berwarna putih dengan bobot 1.050 kg atau 1.05 ton yang dibeli dari seorang peternak dari Solokuro, Lamongan dengan mahar Rp 56 juta.

Humas Masjid Al Akbar Surabaya, Helmy M Noor mengatakan selain Jokowi, beberapa pejabat lain juga akan berkurban di Masjid Al Akbar.

Seperti Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Jatim, Soekarwo dan Saifullah Yusuf, lalu Kapolda Jatim, Irjen Pol Machfud Arifin, ada juga Pangarmatim, Pangndam V Brawijaya, Komandan Diklatal, Kepala Pengadilan Tinggi Jatim, Kajati Jatim, Kapolda Jatim, Sekda Jatim dan pejabat yang lain.

"Untuk Gubernur Jawa Timur terpilih (Khofifah Indar Parawansa) masih kita konfirmasi apakah akan berkurban di Masjid Al Akbar atau tidak," kata Helmy.

Beberapa sapi milik Forkopimda juga sudah nampak datang dan ditempatkan di halaman selatan Masjid Al Akbar.

"Insya Allah yang paling besar yang paling bersih yang paling kokoh adalah sapi milik bapak Presiden Jokowi,"kata Helmy.

Hingga Selasa (21/8/2018) siang, setidaknya ada 26 kambing dan 12 sapi yang sudah ada di Masjid Al Akbar.

"Biasanya update terakhir menjelang sholat idul Adha ya. Kalau tahun lalu banyak ada 63 kambing dan 24 sapi, mungkin besok menjelang sholat idul Adha jumlahnya bisa sampai tahun kemarin bahkan lebih," kata Helmy.
